Common Inquiries

Questions frequently asked

A handful of the things prospective clients most often want to know before their first conversation with the studio.

Do you take on projects outside the New York metropolitan area?

Absolutely. Roughly one third of our commissions are delivered remotely — from Aspen ski chalets to Provençal farmhouses. We travel for key installation phases and oversee trusted local artisans for the remainder.

What is the typical investment for a full-home commission?

Our full-service residential projects generally begin at $250,000 for design fees, with total project investment ranging from $400,000 for a pied-à-terre to several million for primary residences. We present a transparent proposal after the introductory consultation.

Can I work with you for art curation without a full design commission?

Yes. Our Art & Object Curation service operates as a standalone engagement, ideal for collectors expanding their holdings or homeowners seeking a single statement piece. Engagements begin at $15,000.

How long does a typical project take from first conversation to installation?

A single-room refresh usually completes within four to six months. Full-home commissions span twelve to twenty-four months, allowing for bespoke fabrication, art sourcing, and the unhurried refinement that defines our atelier approach.

Is the initial consultation complimentary?

Your first 60-minute studio visit is offered at no charge. Should you wish to proceed, we present a Letter of Engagement outlining scope, fees, and timeline for your review before any contracts are signed.
